This is a chrome Rear Brake Pedal (Lever) Brake Pivot Arm and Return Spring for a 1978 Yamaha XS1100. The pedal is in great shape.With minor cleaning, it could be made to look like new. The splines on the pivot and the clamp are not worn or stripped. This part would make an ideal purchace for your repair/restoration project! This part or parts were removed from a 1978 Yamaha XS1100 that was disassembled and placed into a storage crate several years ago. These parts have been out of the weather and under cover, and so are mostly in much better condition then what you will find in salvage yards elsewhere. Items with maintainable components such as seals, bearings, o-rings and gaskets should be inspected as they may need to be cleaned or rebuilt before being safely usable.
