This is a left handlebar switch for the HondaCB700SC Nighthawkseries. The Honda CB700SC is a 700cc, shaft-drive motorcycle sold from 1984 to 1986. Although the Honda Nighthawk CB750SC motorcycle had been introduced outside the US in 1982, the 700cc Nighthawk debuted two years later. The 1984 750 and 700 were almost identical except for the engine size. In Canada, for instance, the dealers opted for the 750 rather than the 700 because Canada did not have the tariffs that the U.S. imposed on motorcycles over 700 cc. The switch is in good condition. All buttons and switches move smoothly and do not bind. The harness connectors are not damaged or cracked. This part should work great once reinstalled on a motorcycle, but as with all electrical components, it is sold as-is. This is the electrical switchthat includes the Engine Stop and Starter switches. This motorcycle came to us in running but wrecked condition- the engine ran and shifted into gear, and the mechanicals in general looked to be in good condition also. The bike was stored under cover while we've had it, and so in general most parts do not have much rust or corrosion.
