This is a front left brake caliper and mounting bracket for a 1984 � 1985 Honda VF500 V30 Magna. The caliper appears to be in excellent condition. It has pads currently mounted on it, these can probably be used, but the safest course would be to replace them with new pads. We strongly recommend inspecting and / or rebuilding this caliper prior to mounting it on a motorcycle, to ensure safety while riding. It does look to be in very usable condition, however, and will probably work fine as it is after inspection. This part or parts were removed from a 1984 Honda VF500C / V30 Magna. The bike came to us in nonrunning condition and so we were not able to test most components. The bike was stored under cover for the time we've had it, so most parts do not have much weather damage, or rust or corrosion (unless noted). Electrical components are in generally great shape with no weather damage or other major wear, and should work great once reinstalled on a motorcycle. However, as with all electrical components, they are sold as-is. Maintenance items such as bearings, seals, and gaskets may need to be lubricated and / or rebuilt or replaced to work safely.
