This is a regulator / rectifier ( reg/rect or reg / rect ) for: 1983 - 1984 VF750F Interceptor V45 ( VF750-F / VF750 ) 1984 � 1985 VF700F Interceptor ( VF700-F / VF700 ) The parts on the VF750F and VF700F during these years are identical, except for paint and decals. The only differences between these models other then paint and decals is the finish on the wheels and the bore size of the pistons. In 1983 the VF750F was debored to a smaller size to beat the Harley-Davidson protecting Tariffs that came into effect in 1984. We are not able to test this regulator / rectifier but it does not look to have been damaged or left in the weather for too long. The harness connectors are intact and in good condition. We believe that this is a functional reg/rect, but as with all electrical components it is sold as-is. The label on the side says SH541-12 3.4 Shindingen . Happy buying! This part or parts were removed from a 1984 Honda VF750F Interceptor that was disassembled and placed online for sale. The motorcycle was not running prior to disassembly so we were not able to test most parts prior to sale. Items with user maintainable components such as seals, gaskets, o-rings, and bearings should be inspected prior to reinstallation as they may need to be cleaned and / or rebuilt to function reliably.
