This is an auxiliary light 1981 - 1983 Yamaha XJ750R Seca or 1982 XJ750 Maxim. This is the light that mounts directly below the main headlight and gives a bright, secondary illumination when traveling in low visibility areas. This was a factory option on some bikes and standard on others. This is a used unit, including the mounting point, bucket, and lens. good: electrical connections are intact, no snipped wires, no repairs. Lens, bucket, and ring are all in good shape. Ring has minor amount of surface rust, no pitting. Press fitting is slightly off - but could be straightened. We do not know if the bulb works but everything else looks pretty good. If you are adding this to your Yamaha and you don't already have an aux light, get the right handlebar switch that's also available from the same bike and has the on / off switch for the aux light. o see larger /additional photographs. This part or parts were removed from a Yamaha XJ750R Seca or 1982 XJ750 Maxim that was disassembled and placed into a storage crate several years ago. These parts have been out of the weather and under cover, and so are mostly in much better condition then what you will find elsewhere in salvage. Items with maintainable components such as seals, bearings, o-rings and gaskets should be inspected as they may need to be cleaned or rebuilt before being safely usable.
